Trips to the Moon

The second week of August 1956. it
would have made his first trip on the
Moon, with his friends from outer space. At this
occasion, the people of space would have him
shown a view of the surface of the Moon
before they take off from the Earth: He
would have seen constructions in the form of
dome and an apparatus performing a
landing near one of them.
The device where Menger would have been is
would then be flown into space. Faith
next where he would have seen the Moon on
the display screen, they would have
approached apparently very
quickly. The Moon appears
now much larger,
filling the screen.

The contacted Howard Menger claimed to be brought over the Moon aboard a ship
venusian alien in August 1956 and have been able to take a photograph of the lunar soil.
At that time no terrestrial satellite could fly over the Moon. Menger sees once
the Earth at a distance glowing blue-white with tints of red, floating like a ball
tennis in a black ink pool. He takes 5 Polaroid photographs of the Moon and the
Earth, 3 of which will develop, before the device quickly leaves the Earth. Travel
will have lasted 2 hours.
In September, Menger would have made his second trip to the Moon, which would apparently have
lasted several days. This time, as the device approaches the Moon, it can see a
huge domed construction, 'about 45 m in diameter and maybe 15 m high.
There are colored lights flashing under the dome, which rests on a base or pedestal of a
solid white material. Menger becomes aware of the simple beauty of the structure.,
iridescent, similar to a pearl of this large domed construction. They then slide to
through a flat copper-colored road to a huge overture at the base of the structure.
The device is then located inside the large beaded building - perhaps one of the many
similar buildings that constitute (or have constituted) a lunar base maintained by the people of space.

General appearance of the Moon's surface

observe the differences in brightness that the lunar surface presents; a great diversity of
tone is affirmed between the dark parts and the light parts according to the lighting of the Sun

On the other hand, attention has been repeatedly attracted by the presence of a recognized detail there or
previously nothing had been reported, or, conversely, by the disappearance of an object
previously described by astronomers. For those who are familiar with the examination of the surface
lunar, it is easy to understand that the complexity of it allows the possibility of a
confusion, when we undertake to explain an observation or a photograph of it.

Review of the Howard Menger photo.
The shot taken at height is as published in the live and the photos available on the internet.
In the left center of the image, we notice a dark spot with a dragon profile in a
boxer attitude raising his fists. This is the "Dragon boxer" to discover on the globe
lunar from Google Earth - Moon, as a working base.
Around the dark or light blurred spots which are as many landmarks to consider.
The shot is presented with the South at the top and the North at the bottom like many maps of the Moon.
We notice three craters aligned at the bottom left. This is the "tail of the Dragon that dives
in the large Doppelmayer crater (diameter 64 km) with the illumination of the Sun at 12 p.m. at
time dial, that is to say the shadows at the top and the illuminated parts at the bottom.
The rest shows spots of black or white craters depending on the lunar relief.
The remarkable points connected together constitute a mesh consisting of figures in the form
of quadrilaterals and triangles in the manner of the constellations of stars.
We notice, at the bottom right, the "shoe" shape defined by tiny white dots
which circumscribes the crater "Palmieri" (diameter 40 km).
Above, a W-shaped lifting "cart" lifting a quadrilateral load.
Above the head of the "Dragon", three small craters and a few others further to the right.
The upper part shows a characteristic chain of craters and others on the right.
All these characteristics can be noted on a layer.

The trick is to place the layer of the photo mesh on the screen and make a reading of it
comparison of the Google image from NASA source.
With a lot of patience we manage to center and center the image by tilting the lunar surface
so as to present themselves in the same conditions of the shooting.Despite the sensitivity
and the lack of precision of the available mouse controls, it is necessary to find the setting
which are best suited by swinging the image of the lunar soil for a correspondence of the relief
and common landmarks between the two images. It is necessary to take into account the
different lighting conditions of the ridges and drop shadows to match
'location of the craters by an examination of the similarities on the two images and linking the
common points by a geometric mesh.
A perfect match of the images could be obtained with laboratory equipment suitable for the optical manipulation of images.

We immediately notice that the lighting of the Sun usually comes from below, about 6 a.m. at
time dial.
The "Dragon" is still there, but he has lost his arms. The three craters of the tail are less
visible, but they are there in the Doppelmayer strapping. The profile has changed but we
distinguishes the craters better, including the one in his back. In the center, a crater appears, which we
couldn't see.
All the craters in the Menger photo can be spotted. May be offset depending on the lighting and the
size of the crater.
We find the mesh of the figures deformed by the perspective which is not the same.
The "Shoe" is there in the Palmieri crater.
Above we find the W which supports the quadrilateral.

Menger's "cloud" has disappeared.
