I disagree with the theme that the area is a TRIANGLE -- because vanishings have happened beyond the 3 sides to a "T".  I would say the HOODOO AREA is more like a gerrymandered trapezoid.

PECOS TRIANGLE is not a constant forested area, there are clearings, logging roads, meadows, bike trails, old Wild West roads, the place can be navigated. ABOVE? What has caused people I this HOODOO area to vanish? Below an area in the Pecos.
