EQUIPMENT OR SAFARI TOOLS WHEN CHASING THE SHADOWS!
THE GHOSTOMETER
TRIFIELD NATURAL EM METER (GHOSTOMETER) Don't leave home with out it.
There are many meters you can get, many less expensive than this meter. However this meter is not just one guage reader, by turning the dial you get magnetic, microwave and electric readings, the ultimate GHOSTSOMETER. When shadow chasing you may not get that second chance for a good reading.
This meter signals with both tone and the movement of the needle in guage the fluxes in the field. A handy item to have when out on a all night expedition.
When you get the reading, have your camera ready, and aim and shoot. Maybe, and hopefully something will come out on your 35 mm film or digital.
When out at night, remember to have flashlights and extra batteries with you. I am constantly surprised at how many people forget a light source.

Temperatrue gauges are important when shadow chasing. Why, if you do not have a "GHOSTOMETER" you need some type of directional device to lock onto the spectre. If you can not see the ghost then the temperature guage may be able to give you a reading on what part of the room you're poltergiest is in.
There are many different gauges on the market, I prefer the pricey Radio Shack version. The device flashes out an infrared light that will give you a temperature reading quickly.
Aim the guage at the different walls recieve the different readings. Quick normal temperature readings will be shown as well as colder readings as you aim and fire the device. (COLDER as in ghost, if it is in the target area)).
You will be able, by way of cold readings as compared to the regular readings of the room or house, be able to vector onto th shadow you are in pursuit of and perhaps get pictures of it etc..
Temperature gauges are a great tool to have when investigating haunted houses.

When equipment fails? A slight white line can be seen to the left in front of tomb into the ground. Critics will say, there is nothing there, the creepyness at the cemetary was brought on by a cat in the bushes or the wind in the trees. The equipment did not measure anything, human feeling and sight said maybe something was there.
Paraphrasing, General Buck Turgedson- of - "Dr. Strangelove" Then, if you are good, I mean really good, you do not need equipment. You need to have the feel for it, be lucky and of course have acamera. This photo is of a ghostly woman?

Study the right in the following series of pictures. The MUMMY! THE BEAST OF YUCA FLATS! LIGHT PLAYING TRICKS ON CAMERA! You take a look at these three photos and judge. When shadow chasing, it's nice to have the ultimate in equipment, but more importantly, one must have nerve and know when to leave. Possession, or encompassed by evil energy, can happen, BE AWARE! If one is not up to a higher spiritual or mental level, then "DANGER, DANGER, WILL ROBINSON", as the Robot would say on the 1960's "LOST IN SPACE" tv show. I have had cameras break on me, batteries drained, cameras knocked out of my hands, and knocked down bodily. You scoff. A wise man once said, "GREAT HAZZARDS ACCOMPANY SHADOW CHASING". Who was that wise man? Me.
Sometimes you don't need equipment and you capture something on film. On my tour, Alex and pals take a breather outside of the haunted room at LA POSADA. Note the orb or globular at the left bottom of photo. A very small one. The photo has been examined, lighted, and darkened, it was not reflection from an object, something was there.
